On Tuesday, a Delhi court extended AAP leader Manish Sisodia's judicial custody until May 31 in connection with a money laundering case linked to the excise policy.

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja ordered the extension following the expiration of Sisodia’s previously granted judicial custody.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested the former Delhi deputy chief minister on March 9 last year as part of its investigation into the liquor policy case.

Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had also arrested Sisodia during its ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in the formulation and execution of the excise policy of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).

Sisodia remains in judicial custody for both cases.
