South Africa was all out for just 55 runs on this day, in what should have been a regular day—or, maybe more accurately, the most remarkable event of this series. It became a footnote as the Indian inning was resolved in 11 balls during the third session of the first day. India advanced from 153/4 in the 34th over to being all out for 153 runs in the 36th over, needing only one ball to do it. 

Beginning in the 34th over, Lungi Ngidi dismissed KL Rahul on the first delivery and sent Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah for ducks, ending the partnership between Rahul and Virat Kohli. The first ball of the next over saw Kohli fall victim to Rabada for 46 runs, and on the fifth delivery of that over, the legendary Krishna was unfortunate enough to be run out.

In the most recent ICC World Test Championship (WTC), seasoned all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made a comeback to the Test setup.
